Giving Back to Her Community - Former CH Resident Honored
Congratulations to Jessica Burton on her selection by The South Carolina Juneteenth Freedom Fest as a Community Leader Honoree for outstanding work with her mentoring program - Friendly Atmosphere mentoring - FAM!
Jessica credits Columbia Housing with providing a 'hand up' when she needed it. So now she does that for others. the kids hardly ever miss a session. They love their FAM at the Friendly Atmosphere Mentoring program.

Columbia Housing Hosts Blood Drive Friday, April 29, 2022
American Red Cross | Power of Partnerships - We are better together!
We had awesome participation and results with the Friday, April 29th Blood Drive!
We had a goal of 22 units, and actually donated a whopping 29 units of blood! The CH Team has donated almost 900 units of blood since we began partnering with the American Red Cross 20 years ago.
Big THANK YOU to the Columbia Housing Team for their commitment and spirit of service.
We also had some milestone donations:
- Cherilyn McCoy made her 42nd donation!
- Pete Strong made his 40th donation!
- Bobby Brown made his 35th donation!
Special thanks to Interim CEO Yvonda Bean for your support of this important cause. We appreciate your leadership!
All around team effort made this drive a success!
