Mothers Day 5K/10K Run and 1 Mile Walk

Run or walk with us as we celebrate all Mom's in our Mother's Day 5K/10K & 1 Mile Walk event on Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 8:00 am-11:30 pm. Participants will have the option to do a solo 5K race or pair up with a partner for the 10 K race while still practicing DHEC & CDC safety measures and social distancing. Our 5K and 10K Mile Race is open for participants ages 8 and up and 1 Mile Walk is open to all participants. The cost of the 5K/10 K Mile Race will be $30 per person and the 1 Mile Walk $15 per person. Late registrations held on race day for 5K/10K participants will be $35 per person and the 1 Mile Walk $20 per person. Finisher medals and prizes will be given to the top runners within their selected categories and all participants will receive a t-shirt and swag bag. Race Day Schedule:

  • Packet Pickup (Start time and end time)-Friday, May 7, 2021, 10:00 am-3:30 pm at Todd & Moore);
  • Saturday, May 8, 2021-7:00 am-8:00 am (Day of Race)

Race Start Time:

  • 8:00 am-8:10 am 5K & 10 K Participants Warm-up (individually) and receive instructions
  • 8:10 am-5K &10 K Run Begins
  • 8:20 am-1 Mile Walk Begins
  • 8:20 am-9:45 am-Runners begin to cross the finish line at various times
  • 10:00 am-10:20 am-Receiving Timing Results of Overall Runners and Age Groups
  • 10:20 am-10:45-Announcing Award Winners

****5K and 10K race will begin within separate heats while still practicing CDC and DHEC practices of wearing masks and social distancing.

Awards:

  • Overall Male / Female (How many in each): Prize will be given for overall top male and female runner in the 5K & 10K race
  • Age Group Awards for Male / Female
    The top 3 winners for each age category in the 5K and 10K races will receive a finishers medal with a special designed charm
