The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program currently serves approximately 2.3 million families, giving them the opportunity to rent a home from a private landlord. Housing vouchers are one of the most effective tools in the fight against housing instability, homelessness, and overcrowding - yet only 1 in 4 eligible for rental assistance currently receives it. Expanding the HCV program to anyone eligible would stabilize millions of families and allow them to become economically stable.

Whether you are a Public Housing Authority (PHA) Commissioner, currently receive rental assistance through a voucher or a public housing unit, or concerned member of the community, we are all impacted when a family does not have access to affordable, stable housing.
