CH Votes is a non-partisan resident activity solely designed for the purpose of Voter Registration, Education, and Mobilization for families served by Columbia Housing. Columbia Housing has actively engaged our residents in the voting process for decades. CH Votes, for us, is placing a brand around what we have and will continue to do to engage our residents in exercising their civic duty of voting in all local, state, and national elections. Voting is a vital part of our democracy and Columbia Housing will work to ensure all of its families know their rights, make a plan, and exercise their right to vote in 2020 and beyond.

Go to SCVOTES.ORG to find your Precinct. Polls open at 7 AM and close at 7 PM. If you are in line at 7 PM, you will be permitted to vote! - Take photo identification
Acceptable forms include:- South Carolina driver's license or South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles ID Card (includes standard license and REAL ID)
- South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit
- South Carolina voter registration card with photo
- US military ID (includes all Department of Defense IDs and Veterans Affairs Benefits Card)
- or US passport (Includes US Passport ID Card)
- Be COVID Aware
- Wear a mask.
- Maintain at least 6' between you, other voters, and poll workers.
- Wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitizer.
- Use the disposable swabs provided at the polling place to make your selections on touch screen voting machines.
