Columbia Housing Seeks Vendors to Make Cloth Face Masks!
Columbia, SC.... Columbia Housing is seeking several vendors to make cloth face masks (coverings). Several vendors are being requested as we plan to order approximately 6,000 cloth face masks for our residents and staff.
The cloth face coverings must be made in accordance with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance on the use of cloth face coverings to help slow the spread of COVID-19. New CDC Recommendations - Cloth Face Coverings
Do
- Use a cloth face covering when you are in social settings where social distancing is difficult to maintain.
- Use items around the the house like scarves and bandannas.
Don't
- Use a cloth face covering as a substitute for social distancing and staying home.
- Use N95, surgical, or other medical grade masks. These are needed by Doctors, Nurses, and First Responders.
Maintaining 6' social distancing remains critical to slowing the spread of the virus.
