Columbia Housing is committed to creating the safest environments possible for our vulnerable residents during the COVID-19 crisis.  We have contracted with local contractor, Pro-Core Pest Control, who will be disinfecting the Oak Read, Marion Street, Rosewood Hills and Arrington Manor senior facilities on Friday, March 27, 2020.

Pro-Core Pest Control uses the Nisus DSV which is recognized by the EPA as an approved disinfectant, sanitizer and viricide in regard to the COVID-19 virus.

"We are doing everything possible to minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19 for our senior residents," stated Interim Executive Director Ivory Mathews.  "We began communicating with our staff and residents in late February regarding the potential threat and continue to remain vigilant with our information campaign and activities designed to reduce the chance of spreading the virus within our community."

Community rooms were closed on March 16, 2020 in all CH communities per CDC guidelines regarding social distancing.  Hand sanitizer stations were set up at the senior properties that same week.
