Cindi Herrera, Senior Vice President Development - Joined Columbia Housing in 2019 - 41 Years of Service in the Affordable Housing Industry

I work in the affordable housing industry to create homes...the starting place for love, hopes, and dreams. Providing stable, dignified and affordable housing is the foundation for economic mobility allowing families to flourish and seniors to age with dignity.

The most rewarding aspect of my work is when the general public cannot distinguish affordable housing from market-rate housing and the reaction of residents when they walk into a newly constructed housing unit with modern conveniences that they may have never experienced. I share their tears of joy!
