ADDENDUM #1

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. How many typical weeks does the audit fieldwork last? Typically, just one week with the use of electronic portals.
2. When is the fieldwork for the audit typically performed? Anytime after the unaudited year end close is complete (the HUD unaudited FDS submission) which occurs 60 days after the close of the fiscal year.
3. How many staff are typically on site? Typically, there are 3 staff on site to conduct the fieldwork.
4. What was the fee for the audit during the prior year and did that include discretely presented component units (Cayce Housing Authority)? The total fee for the Columbia Housing Authority audit was $56,300.00. The discrete and blended component units are affiliates of the Columbia Housing Authority. The Cayce Housing Authority is a separate audit. The solicitation requests two separate bids, one for the Columbia Housing Authority and one for the Cayce Housing Authority. Cayce does not have any discrete or blended component units.
5. How many adjustments does the Housing Authority and component units have each year from the audit? There have been minimal audit adjustments in prior years.
6. Will fieldwork for the component units take place onsite (Cayce Housing Authority) or will it take place in Columbia? All fieldwork will take place at the Columbia Housing Authority.
