Attention CH Residents! Get Ready to VOTE!

BOTH 2024 SC Presidential Primaries are in February!

• The Democratic Presidential Primary is February 3.
• The Republican Presidential Primary is February 24.

You can pick either primary but you can only vote in one.

There are three ways to cast your ballot.

1. Vote Early - You can vote at any early voting center in your county during the early voting period. Simply bring your Photo ID and vote just like you would at your polling place on election day.
   * Early voting for the Democratic Presidential Primary runs January 22 through February 2.
   * Early voting for the Republican Presidential Primary runs February 12 through February 22.
   Early voting centers are open 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the early voting periods. Click here to find a list of early voting locations.
   
   
2. Vote Absentee - Consider voting absentee if you are unable to vote in person. Qualified voters can vote absentee by mail. Get your absentee application at scVOTES.gov or contact your county voter registration office. 3. Vote on Election Day - Bring your Photo ID to your polling place in your precinct. Your precinct and polling place are also listed on your voter registration card, however, your polling place may have changed since the card was issued. Always check your polling place on the South Carolina Election Commission website before leaving to vote. Once on the SC Election Commission website, select "Find My Polling Place" under MySCVotes or check with your county voter registration office. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
