Our History is Your History

There's a rich and treasured history embedded in the 86 years since Columbia Housing was established back in 1934. Our story includes some incredible trailblazers-matriarchs and patriarchs whose resilient efforts helped create a great community. We are happy to pay homage to their legacy and tell their stories of strength & sacrifice in our series Our History is Your History. That history traces community milestones and shared experiences for people throughout the Midlands and across South Carolina.  In honor of Women's History Month, we feature community trailblazer Celia Saxon in this inaugural episode.
